If you didn't make it to Scholarship Night, no worries! GEAR UP Burke County, in partnership with Burke County Public Schools, will host open lab sessions with parents and students to walk you through the financial aid process.
In addition, there are other times that you can receive assistance with completing the FAFSA to apply for financial aid whether you plan to attend a two or four-year college. The Financial Aid Office at Western Piedmont Community College offers FAFSA Fridays each week from 2:30pm to 4pm and will also host FAFSA Day on Saturday, October 26 from 9am to 12pm. When attending an event to work on your FAFSA, it is highly recommended that both the student AND a parent are present. If you have questions, contact the financial aid office at 828.448.6046 or visit https://www.wpcc.edu/financial-aid/apply-for-financial-aid/ for more information.
