  • Western Piedmont Community College offers College and Career Promise during high school.

  • STEAM Summer Camps are available each summer for various grade levels.

  • Every Fall we host our annual How to Pay for College Night in partnership with the College Foundation of NC, keep an eye out for an announcement!

  • Check with your respective high school to start a MADE Competition Team to show off your design skills!.

  • The Construction Rodeo competition happens every spring! Talk with your school's CTE Coordinator for more information.

  • Pioneer Preview is an opportunity for you to learn more about Western Piedmont Community College and the programs they have to offer!

  • 8th grade students get to tour local industries to see their operations first-hand, and gain knowledge about career opportunities.

  • STRIVE (Students Taking a Renewed Interest in the Value of their Education) students meet once a month at each of our 4 public high schools in the county to discuss career pathways, receive support from community mentors, and learn soft-skills.
